Owners of oil and gas installations and pipelines are required to decommission their offshore infrastructure at the end of a field’s economic life and the 1998 Act requires owners to set out the measures to decommission disused installations and/or pipelines in a decommissioning program. A decommissioning program must identify all the items of equipment, infrastructure and materials that have been installed or drilled and describe the decommissioning solution for each
Over the next decade, the UK’s decommissioning bill will be the largest of any country in the world. Scores of platforms need to be completely or partially removed. And taking platforms out of service will be a priority for some time yet: as many as 470 installations need to be decommissioned in the UK North Sea over the next 30 to 40 years

To respond to our customer needs more effectively, we command a wide-ranging list of used process plants and equipment for chemical, petrochemical, refining and power plants. This access helps our clients to set up their plant smoothly in a very short time. Frequently, our clients are able to systematically inspect a plant with regard to its condition whilst it is still in the production phase. We see great opportunities for re-using the equipment and materials which will be decommissioned. We aim to find a right customer for the re-usable equipment and materials which will be obtained from decommissioning.
